Finally, we have our tree up! It has been cold here in GA the last few nights which is nice. We played our Charlie Brown Christmas CD and hung our favorite ornaments. It was very cool.
Some updates:
- Rudy is headed off to a funeral tomorrow for a student of his who passed away on Saturday. It came as quite the shock since Rudy had just taught him in class the previous Wednesday. Please keep he and the department in your thoughts as it has been a rough time for such a close-knit group.
- On a lighter note, it appears we will have a new neighbor moving in towards the end of this month. He came by last night and seems like a great guy! YIPPEE! After close to 8 months of the house being vacant, we are very happy to have someone move in.
- Finally, Rudy has done a preliminary interview with State University of New York @ Cortland. It appears to have gone well and we are waiting to hear as far as an in-person interview. They generally do not grant many, so cross your fingers!
